Adriana Resources Inc.: Drilling Program Underway on the MIE Project, Nunavut

Adriana Resources Inc. announces the commencement of the diamond drilling program on the Company’s wholly owned MIE Project on the McGregor Lake Property in Nunavut, Canada.

Major Drilling Group International Inc. (“Major”) has commenced the 2,000 meter drill program, which is estimated to cost $2 million and includes borehole pulse electromagnetic (“BHPEM”) surveys, a surface gravity survey, and continuation of the 2006 SQUID PEM surveys. Drilling will consist of three holes ranging from 600 meters to 800 meters deep, drilled across the Muskox Intrusion, south of McGregor Lake.

The goal of the program is to test conductors defined by the 2006 SQUID PEM survey, which are modeled to rest at the footwall contact of the Muskox Intrusion with the country rock along structural corridors that may have been important in concentrating mineralization at the base of the magma chamber. These conductors have been mapped over a strike length of five kilometers at depths ranging from 400 meters to over 500 meters deep. The conductors are interpreted to be sulphide mineralization containing Nickel, Copper, Palladium and Platinum minerals (“Ni-Cu-PGM”).

To ensure that the conductive targets are fully tested, the Company has contracted Crone Geophysics and Exploration Ltd. (“Crone”) to carry out the BHPEM surveys down the drill hole on the three proposed drill holes. These surveys will help to define the size, location, and continuity of any conductors intersected or missed by the current drilling. Crone will also conduct surface SQUID PEM surveys on McGregor Lake and infill portions of the Company’s 2006 SQUID PEM surveys for enhanced target definition.

To further define mineralization that may be within the target corridor, the Company contracted MWH Geo-surveys Ltd. (“MWH”) to conduct detailed gravity surveys over the entire McGregor Lake property. These surveys are scheduled to begin in the next month.

The mobilization phase of the MIE Project is also serving to mobilize and prepare for the Company’s drill program at the wholly owned Bear Valley Uranium Project and the UNAD Joint Venture with Unor Inc (“UNOR”) scheduled to begin immediately after break-up and upon the completion of the MIE Project drill program.

Mr. Afzaal Pirzada, P.Geo., a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, now on-site supervising the commencement of the Spring 2007 drilling program, has approved the technical content of this News Release.

About the MIE Project

The MIE Project draws its name from one of the world’s largest continental-type magmatic events, the Mackenzie Igneous Event. This Event involved an estimated 5 to 10 million cubic kilometers of magma. Geological events such as these can host large, rich (Ni-Cu-PGM) deposits.

The Company’s extensive land package covers more than 630 square kilometers, and consists of two properties, McGregor Lake and All Night Lake, both located on the Muskox Intrusion.
