Candorado Confirms Mineralization within the Recently Released 2005 Multi-Sensor Airborne Survey in the Canim Lake Area of Central British Columbia

Candorado Operating Company Ltd. : The Geological Service of Canada has recently released the data of the 2005 Airborne Multi-sensor (gamma ray spectrometer, total field magnetic, and VLF-EM) survey covering the area north of Canim Lake to Horsefly in Central British Columbia.

In early 2006, Candorado acquired, through a 50/50 staking joint-venture, more than 80,000 acres within the surveyed area. Discovery Consultants from Vernon, B.C., the company’s geological consultant, has now analyzed the data and identified more than a dozen high priority targets. A field program is currently underway to examine the targets on the ground. Early in the field program one target has shown potassic altered granodiorite with traces of disseminated chalcopyrite.

Candorado further announces that it is participating as an industry partner in this year’s airborne survey, a joint program by the Geological Service of Canada, Geoscience B.C. and industry partners. The survey will cover Candorado’s Murphy Lake Block, the Rayfield River porphyry option and part of the Rail Block which covers claims either 100% owned by Candorado or joint-ventured with GWR Resources. Candorado’s financial commitment to the survey is close to $150,000.00 and the results are expected late in the summer of 2006.

Candorado Operating Company Ltd. is a junior mineral exploration company with an interest in exploration properties exceeding a quarter million hectares (owned, joint-ventured and optioned) in Central British Columbia, the Serb Creek molybdenum deposit, and “Eldorado” property next to BC Metals’ “Red Cris” copper gold porphyry deposit in Northern BC.
