EPL Provides Update on the Strategic Alternatives Process

Energy Partners, Ltd. provided an update regarding the Company’s ongoing exploration of strategic alternatives:

The Company remains committed to the process and is in discussions with interested parties. The Company will provide a further update by mid February, unless it is able to announce the completion of this process at an earlier date.

Founded in 1998, EPL is an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Company’s operations are focused along the U. S. Gulf Coast, both onshore in south Louisiana and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.
