Flint Announces Fluid Hauling and Pressure and Vacuum Contract Awards in Northeast Alberta

Flint Energy Services Ltd. announced that the Company has been awarded two contracts to provide fluid hauling and pressure and vacuum services to two major oil producers in Northeast Alberta valued at $125 million (Canadian dollars) over the next five years.

The first, a five year contract, worth an estimated C$15 million annually, is with an existing customer in Northeast Alberta. This contract will provide fluid hauling, pressure trucks, vacuum trucks, steam cleaning, chemical cleaning, flushbys, industrial cleaning, and turnaround services to the client.

The second contract, valued at over C$10 million annually, is an evergreen contract with a new customer in Northeast Alberta. This contract will provide fluid hauling, pressure trucks, vacuum trucks, steam cleaning, chemical cleaning, industrial cleaning, flushbys, safety services, and turnaround services to the client.

These contracts are in addition to the recently announced extension of pipeline maintenance work to FT Services’ maintenance contract at Canadian Natural Resources’ Horizon project.

Both contracts provide a steady stream of guaranteed contract work on an ongoing basis for the foreseeable future. Flint’s Fluid Hauling and Pressure and Vacuum divisions, which are included in the Production Services business segment, will complete these contracts from Flint’s bases in Lloydminster and Bonnyville, Alberta.

“These contracts help to demonstrate that much of Flint’s Production Services activities are tied to steady work associated with ongoing production of oil and gas throughout North America,” said Bill Lingard, President and CEO, Flint Energy Services Ltd. “The continuation of existing business coupled with the growth of new contract work in the oil sands and heavy oil regions of Northeast Alberta are key growth areas for Flint.”
