Indias NTPC to float global tender for coal-head
India’s No. 1 power producer, NTPC Ltd will soon float a global tender to import 5 million tonnes of coal, its chairman and managing director T. Sankaralingam said on Thursday.
“We will like to cut down the coal import prices. It is competitive market and competition is key,” he said without elaborating on the grade of the thermal coal.
