KaMin to Restructure Kaolin Operations in Georgia
KaMin LLC announced today that it will be restructuring its kaolin facilities in Georgia over the next several months. The net impact will be a reduction of its hydrous production capacity and elimination of select paper grades at its Sandersville operation. The restructuring will include a reduction in the KaMin workforce.
“Significant increases in operating and logistical costs, combined with the reduction in the paper market demand, have forced us to take these steps.
