Lions Petroleum Inc. announces a new director

Lions Petroleum Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Eric H. Olsen, P. Eng., to its Board of Directors. Mr. Olsen received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech, The University of Montana. He has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers of AIME since 1972.

Mr. Olsen’s extensive experience in the Rocky Mountain and Mid Continent regions of the United States, more specifically in the “Cherokee Basin” located in SE Kansas. Such experience will be an invaluable asset to the Company and its ability to succeed in the Cherokee Basin.

ABOUT LIONS

The Company is a Delaware corporation that has oil and gas leases in Northern Alberta and the Williston Basin in South Saskatchewan.

The Company has an interest in two producing wells in Lavaca County, Texas with an option to participate in two additional undrilled wells.

The Company has signed Letters of Intent to acquire 20 miles of pipeline, tap into the main Southern Star Line, 45 gas wells, and 38,277 acres of petroleum leases, located in Bourbon, Crawford & Neosho counties in South East Kansas, located in the Cherokee Basin.

The Company has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire 14,184 acres of petroleum leases in Harrison and Daviess Counties, located in the Forest City Basin in N.E. Missouri.

The Company is currently seeking additional projects throughout North America.
