MDN Inc.: Large High-Grade Intersection at 4 km From the Main Zone at Viyonza

MDN Inc. announce the results of the first phase of the 2008 drilling program on the Viyonza project, located 15 km north of the Tulawaka Gold Mine in Tanzania. The drill program consisted in 708 metres diamond drilling (DD) in the main mineralized zone in Block A, 5,797 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling and 1,176 metres of rotary air blast drilling (RAB) to extend known mineralization and to test new soil anomalies.

In Block D at 4 km southeast of the main mineralized zone in Block A, drill hole NTRC-106 intersected 57.1 g/t gold over 2 m in a wider zone of 7.0 m grading 23.3 g/t gold. It comes from 70 m down-dip from the discovery intersection of 7.0 m grading 2.6 g/t Au in NTRAB-57, released on November 19, 2007. Drill hole NTRC-111 located at 25 metres NNW returned 1m at 5.18 g/t Au while another drill hole (NTRC-108) located 25 m SSE returned 1m at 4.0 g/t Au giving an indication of the strike direction of the mineralization for follow-up.

Drill hole NTRC-82 intersected 7.32 g/t gold over 1 m and drill hole NTRC-104 intersected 6.84 g/t gold over 1 m respectively at 250m northwest and northeast of the main mineralized zone in Block A.

In addition, two drill holes (NTRC-120 and NTRC-127) confirmed the presence of gold mineralization in the recently defined soil anomaly of Block I.

All samples were analyzed by fire assay at the SGS laboratories in Tanzania, and certified under international standards. A rigorous program of analytical grade verification implemented by MDN included 12% control samples. Technical information in this press release was verified and approved by geologist Dominique Fournier, Ph.D., who acted as a qualified person in accordance with NI 43-101.

The 102.9 km Viyonza Project, located at 15 km north of the Tulawaka Gold Mine in Tanzania, was 100% optioned by MDN from Tanzanian Royalty Exploration Corporation.

MDN is a mining exploration company with its head office in Montreal, Quebec (Canada). Its main exploration activities are carried out in Quebec through gold and base metal interests and in Tanzania through a majority interest in 28 adjacent mineral licenses in addition to a 30% participation interest in the Tulawaka Gold Mine.
