Millstream Cuts 15 Metres of .16% Nickel at Potter

Millstream Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce that at its Potter Mine Project in north eastern Ontario, a diamond drill hole, S-07-17 has intersected 15 metres of nickel bearing mineralization grading .16% nickel along with anomalous values of copper, zinc and cobalt. The mineralization is hosted in peridotite. The hole was targeted to test a geophysical anomaly which ties in with surface sampling previously completed and reported on (see PR July 18, 2007). Surface set-up was located well east of the minesite area on line 1125 West, 700 South. The azimuth was 180 degrees and dip was -45 degrees.

Drill holes, S-07-16 and S-07-18, drilled in and around the same area came up with anomalous values of nickel.

The Potter Project, located within Munro Township, occurs within an east-southeast trending Archean (2714 Ma) succession of mafic to ultramafic komatiitic to tholeiitic volcanic and intrusive rocks referred to as Kidd-Munro Assemblage. This type of mafic to ultramafic komatiitic structure is a well known host for a significant proportion of the world’s sulphide nickel resources.

Millstream’s main focus continues to be the copper, zinc and cobalt mineralization surrounding the immediate area of the past producing Potter Mine. Drilling is ongoing to further explore the limits of this potentially rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) type deposit.

Sample preparation and analyses for this release were conducted by Swastika Labs in Swastika, Ontario on samples supplied by Millstream. Edward Bettiol, P. Eng, a Qualified Person as described in National Instrument 43-101 for the Potter Mine Project, has reviewed this report and press release with company management.
