Minquest Fund I, L.P. Increases Its Equity Interest in Globestarmining Corporation
MinQuest Fund I, L. P. announced its acquisition on October 7, 2008, of 2,005,500 common shares of Globestar Mining Corporation. Combined with the GMI common shares previously owned, MinQuest now owns a total of 11,265,800 common shares, representing approximately 10.71% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of GMI. The common shares were acquired through the Toronto Stock Exchange for investment purposes at a price of $0.58 per common share. MinQuest may, subject to market conditions and other relevant factors, make additional investments in or dispositions of securities of GMI in the future.
