Nitro Petroleum, Inc. Announces Major Re-Work on Quinlan #2 Well: Oklahoma

Nitro Petroleum, Inc. reports that the Company is scheduling a Major re-work on Quinlan #2 well located in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. Nitro is the Operator on this project and anticipates performing this work immediately. This well has a depth of 4800 feet and Nitro expects to produce from the Simpson Dolomite formation. The Simpson Dolomite zone is a very prolific pay zone in the State of Oklahoma. Larry Wise President & CEO of Nitro comments that, “The historical records on the well that the Quinlan well produced in excess of 100 barrels of Oil per day and 1500 barrels of salt water and was shut in during 1979 due to low Oil prices.”

Nitro will update the shareholders when the re-work is completed.

Nitro Petroleum, Inc. also reports that the State of Oklahoma has granted the permit for the Salt Water Disposal Well on the Quinlan project. The disposal well will dispose of the water from the Quinlan well #2 and also will handle all the water from the Quinlan #3 when the Company decides to commingle several pay zones as previously announced.
