North Atlantic Proposes Name Change to Legend Gold Corp.
North Atlantic Resources Ltd. announces that the Board of Directors of the Company has approved, subject to shareholder and regulatory approval, a change of name of the Company to Legend Gold Corp. A special meeting of shareholders of the Company will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 to consider and, if thought fit, approve the name change. A notice of meeting and management information circular describing the proposed name change will be distributed in advance of the shareholders’ meeting.
The Company is a mineral exploration and development company focused on exploring for gold in the Republic of Mali, West Africa. The Company four main projects are the FT, Kantela, Diokeba, and Dalakan Projects. In recent years, The Company have made significant gold discoveries on the FT Project located in Southern Mali, and the Kantela Project located in Western Mali.
