Soho Resources Corp. Reports Additional Drill Results From Several Zones at Tahuehueto

Tuesday, August 12th 2008

Soho Resources Corp. report assay results for 36 more completed core drill holes from its ongoing exploration program on its 100% controlled Tahuehueto Project, located in northwestern Durango State, Mexico.

This release reflects results on step out drilling for resource expansion on the Cinco De Mayo, Perdido, Catorce Zones. Assay results show strong mineralization both along strike on step out holes and to depth where the ore shoots remain fully open. All three of these zones continue to produce very encouraging results that will continue to build the Company’s resource inventory.

The Cinco De Mayo Zone continues to produce excellent results where the drilling of two new holes above and below two previously drilled holes on section 1250 extend continuous high grade mineralization both up-dip to near surface, and down dip over approximately 300 meters of dip length where the mineralization remains open to depth.

Continued drilling success at the Perdido Zone is also very encouraging in that the current most promising mineralization on this structure has been outlined in a large ore shoot intersected in 5 contiguous drill holes over 150 meters of strike length and mineralization remains open to depth.

At Catorce, continuous results have been encountered on 100 metre spaced section drilling over a minimum of 300 meters strike length adding new encouragement to the Cartorce Zone. Additional drilling is required between section lines to confirm that this represents one large ore shoot. This mineralization also remains open to depth.

In addition to the 27 holes tabulated above another 8 holes returned no significant results as follows; 6 holes from Santiago, DDH08-166, 169, 175, 177, 181 & 184; 2 holes from Catorce DDH08-159 & 173. One additional hole from Perdido, DDH08-188 was abandoned before reaching target.

Due to the current weakness in the capital markets Soho has temporarily suspended drilling operations at the project. Technical work continues with drill core logging, geological mapping, rock density calculations, and data management. Soho has completed more than 47,000 metres of drilling in approximately 245 holes since drilling operations started on the Project in January 2005. Since the completion of its first resource calculation Soho has completed approximately 71 new drill holes and results from these holes will be incorporated into a undated resource calculation to be initiated later this year. Samples from 15 additional drill holes are either in the lab for analysis or in transit to the lab.

Sample location plans (Cinco De Mayo, El Creston and Santiago) are available for viewing on the Company’s web site. Drill core and rock samples are shipped from site to Chemexs’ sample preparation facility in Hermosillo, Mexico with pulps being shipped by Chemex to their analytical laboratory in Vancouver, BC, Canada where final analysis is conducted. Gold and silver are analyzed by Fire Assay. Copper, Lead and Zinc are analyzed by multi acid digestion and atomic absorption.

The Tahuehueto project is situated in north-western Durango State, within the historic Sierra Madre mining district, which hosts a number of producing gold, silver and base metal mines, and many active exploration and development projects. The exploration program is being conducted under the direction of Hall Stewart, P.Geo, a qualified geologist as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Ralph Shearing, President, P.Geol, also a qualified geologist, authored this news release.
