Suntron Corporation and Obsidian Partner to Build the Nations Fastest Link in Supercomputing

Suntron Corporation, a leader in the area of integrated Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) technology with facilities across the US and in Mexico, announced today that Obsidian has selected Suntron as its manufacturer of choice to support the full production phase of the Longbow product series.

The Obsidian Longbow was originally designed as a new light speed supercomputing link used to meet mission critical demands for the US Department of Defense. It is now changing the expectations of the enterprise, medical and life science industries with the unprecedented speed in secure data transfer. The high complexity of each of the PCBAs, mixed with the challenge of full system integration, allows Suntron to add the quality and reliability they are known for into each fully tested unit.
