Texas Energy Holdings Continues Building Focus on International Market by Introducing Oil and Gas Diversification Benefits to Japanese Pension Fund Investment Managers

Texas Energy Holdings, a privately held energy investment firm concentrating in active development of oil and gas fields, has announced its President and CEO Chad Willis has been invited to speak to senior level pension funds and investment executives from leading Japanese companies about the diversification benefits of oil and gas investments in the United States.

Japan represents the second largest pension fund in the world, and this exclusive summit includes senior decision makers from top tier Japanese organizations including the Toshiba Pension Fund, the Sony Global Management Pension Organization, the Hewlett-Packard Japan Employee Pension Fund and the Hitachi High-Technologies Pension Fund.

“Foreign institutional investors, particularly in the high-growth Japanese and Chinese markets, are showing tremendous interest in diversifying their portfolios with oil and gas; because of this Texas Energy Holdings established a wholly owned subsidiary earlier this year, Texas Energy Holdings International, to focus on foreign investor relations and diversified capital sourcing,” said Chad Willis, President and CEO of Texas Energy Holdings. “I am pleased to be part of the Japanese Investment Summit and look forward to meeting with pension fund managers from leading Japanese companies who are motivated to diversify their portfolios with oil and gas investments.”

The Japanese Investment Summit takes place November 8-10, 2006 at the Karuizawa Prince Hotel in Nagano, Japan.
