Uranium One Temporarily Suspends Mine Operations at Dominion

Uranium One Inc. announced that it has temporarily suspended mine operations at the Dominion Uranium Project in South Africa.

Today’s action follows labour disruptions this week at the Project, which culminated in a general illegal strike. Notwithstanding repeated Company directives to end the strike and a court order issued yesterday by the Labour Court of South Africa prohibiting the continuation of the illegal strike, a majority of the labour force at Dominion has refused to return to work. In light of the refusal to comply with the court order, the Company has today begun the process of issuing termination notices to the striking workers at Dominion. In the meantime, the Company is actively exploring all options available to it at Dominion.
