Acquisition of Common Shares of Lion Energy Corp.
David J. Birkenshaw announced that he acquired ownership and control of 709,500 common shares of Lion Energy Corp. as of February 16, 2011 which represents approximately 0.82% of the then issued and outstanding common shares of Lion Energy (the “Transaction”).
Immediately following the completion of the Transaction, Birkenshaw alone owned and controlled 14,581,500 Common Shares, representing approximately 16.93% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Lion Energy. The Transaction was made through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Birkenshaw acquired the Common Shares for investment purposes. However, Birkenshaw will review his holdings from time to time and may increase or decrease his holdings as future circumstances may dictate.
