Adanac Moly Corp.: Open House an Atlin Success

Mr. Larry W. Reaugh is pleased to announce that Adanac Moly Corp. (TSX VENTURE: AUA)(PINK SHEETS: ANCGF)(FWB: A9N) (the Company), in cooperation with the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office (BCEAO), held the Ruby Creek Molybdenum Project public open house in the community of Atlin, BC on September 14, 2006. This event is an integral part of the public consultation process as required under provincial legislation.

The main purpose of the open house was to provide a forum whereby the community could ask questions, examine, discuss, and express comments first-hand to the Company and BCEAO on all aspects of the project. Information displayed included project timelines, environmental baseline studies, engineering analyses, community and First Nation consultation, economic and employment opportunities, and reclamation concepts. The BCEAO provided information illustrating the steps in the provincial regulatory process.

A total of sixty-six individuals from Atlin, Taku River Tlingit First Nation (TRTFN), and surrounding communities attended. Adanac’s executive and technical staff were available to answer all questions regarding the project. The question and answer period provided the community an opportunity to formally add further comments to the review process. Both the questions and answers will be posted on the BCEAO website, at www.eao.gov.bc.ca.

Adanac Moly Corp. would like to thank the TRTFN, Atlin community, and Klohn Crippen Berger (environmental consultant) for their contributions that facilitated the successful Ruby Creek Molybdenum Project open house.

The Ruby Creek Molybdenum Project public comment period concludes on October 5, 2006.
