Ako Kasei Confirms that High Mineral Water Helps Suppress Helicobacter Pylori
Ako Kasei has discovered a unique property of high mineral water made of Amami-no-Mizu, its proprietary deep sea water product, in collaboration with Kochi University.
Amami-no-Mizu, which is made of deep sea water obtained from the sea off Muroto, Kochi Prefecture, has a hardness of 1000.
The joint research results indicate that the high mineral water can inhibit the proliferation and motility of Helicobacter pylori.
Going forward, the company plans to proceed with research, in particular for elucidating how mineral components in the deep sea water affect Helicobacter pylori.
