Berry Petroleum Allocates Development Money

Berry Petroleum Company announced it intends to spend $320 million next year, with $267 million allocated for development and appraisal activities.

The Bakersfield producer of oil in Kern County and Newhall expects to end 2007 with 185 million barrels of oil equivalent, a 25 percent increase from estimated 2006 reserves of 148 million barrels of oil equivalent.
