Discovery Mining Expands Sales Organization with Northeast Region Director of Sales
Discovery Mining, Inc., a leader in electronic discovery technology, today announced the addition of Ann Heatherington as Director of Sales, Northeast. From the New York City office, Ann will lead the sales efforts for the Northeast region, with a particular focus on corporate legal departments.
Prior to joining Discovery Mining, Ann was the Director of Sales, Special Events for ALM Events, a division of American Lawyer Media, Inc. In this role, she was responsible for sales for The Corporate Counsel Forum, the only appointment-based business development cruise for senior attorneys, corporate counsel and legal services executives. While at ALM, Ann increased sales by 45%, cultivating relationships with Managing Partners, CMOs, Partners and Practice Group leaders from top-tier law firms and select boutique/specialty firms. Prior to ALM, Ann was Project Manager for Northstar Conferences, a division of AICPA, where she produced over 40 business development conferences for leaders in law, finance and business. She also created the highest- grossing and best-attended conference in Northstar’s history, which became a signature annual event. Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Northwestern University.
