Drilling Indicates 80 Meter Wide Zone of Mineralization Extending at Least 200 Meters Down Dip on BA Project Site

Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd announces that drilling is being conducted by 2 drills on its 100 % owned BA claims. The BA claims are located 30 km east of Stewart in the Skeena mining division approximately 3 kilometers south of paved Highway 37A. This project has the potential to host a large Kuroko type VMS deposit that has silver rich replacement type mineralization associated with it.

DDH-2008-BA-42 intersected a wide sequence of rocks consisting of mineralized mudstones, mudstone breccias, dacite and later replacement type mineralization. Pyrite, sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite and local argentite were noted in the mineralized sequence. The company has cut and sent the hole out for rush assay in order to aid in further hole planning.

At present, a total of 22 drill holes have now been completed on site this year.

One drill is testing the mineralized zone from drill set-ups located in the hanging wall of the mineralized sequence. The second drill is testing the zone 250 meters south west from set-ups located in the footwall region of the mineralized sequence. The first drill has indicated that the mineralized zone widens at depth with a mineralized sequence of rocks that is at least 80 meters wide (true thickness). Drilling has indicated that the zone being tested is at least 200 meters deep. The zone appears to dip at 45 degrees which is parallel to the hillside on which it is located. The second drill has intersected a zone of mineralization that appears to be 50 meters thick extending over at least 150 meters of depth. The zone of mineralization is exposed at surface over 500 meters of strike length.

Drilling is presently being conducted from drill pads constructed by a small excavator which is also used to move the drills from set-up to set-up. Drilling is on a 15 by 15 meter grid which will enable a resource calculation at the end of the 2008 program.

A third drill will test the down dip extent of the horizon indicated in DDH-2008-BA-42. This drill will be located approximately 150 meters lower in elevation from DDH-2008-BA-42.

E. Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is in charge of the exploration program on behalf of the Company. Drill core and surface samples are assayed by Assayers Canada of Vancouver, BC.

Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd is a Canadian based mineral exploration company whose activities are in the Stewart and McKenzie area of BC. It is actively exploring for gold-silver-base metals on the Silver Coin project, silver-base metals on their American Creek properties, copper-gold in the Stewart area, porphyry molybdenum in the Stewart and McKenzie areas and copper-nickel-platinum group metals in the McKenzie area.
