Everton Starts Drilling on Fresso Concession, Dominican Republic

Everton Resources Inc. announce the start of a 1,500 metre diamond drill program on the 66-km2 Fresso concession, located in northwestern Dominican Republic. The 5 to 10-hole drill program is designed to test coinciding induced polarization (IP) and geochemical anomalies. Everton has the option to acquire a 100% interest in the Fresso concession over a period of up to two years.

This program is a follow-up to a comprehensive surface evaluation program on the Fresso concession, which included a detailed systematic soil and rock sampling program, stream sampling and geological mapping. In November 2008, Everton announced soil anomaly results that included peak values of 1.9 g/t and 0.98 g/t gold; and 0.12% and 0.13% copper. These anomalies coincide with strongly silicified, gossanous chert & andesite and copper oxide mineral showings. To date, selected rock grab samples have yielded values as high as 9.6 g/t gold; and 4.15% and 3.9% copper.

Core samples will be prepared at the ACME Analytical Laboratories Ltd. facilities in Maimon, Dominican Republic and assayed at ACME Labs in Vancouver, B.C. Results are expected by February 2009.

In other news, Everton also announces that effective November 10th 2008, the Company granted 150,000 stock options to an Officer. Each stock option entitles the holder to subscribe for one common share of the Company at a price of $0.10 per share for five years and vests over an 18-month period.
