FdL Wind Power group takes top 3 places
Team Wind Power, a group of Fond du Lac sailors from Wind Power Windsurfing and Kiting Center, took the top three places at the annual Lake Crossing Race at Mille Lacs, two hours north of Minneapolis. Arden Anderson captured first; Kevin Gratton, second; and Don Altmeyer, third.
The event took place t brought 42 windsurfers together. The race was over 20 miles long. Competitors endured strong winds but no snow.
