First Nickel Inc.: Gerry Bilodeau Appointed as General Manager-Sudbury Opertations
First Nickel Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gerry Bilodeau as General Manager – Sudbury Operations. Mr. Bilodeau has many years of senior operations management experience with Falconbridge/Noranda, most notably as Manager Mining at the Kidd Mine D Project in Timmins and as Project Superintendent during development and construction at Falconbridge’s remote Raglan Project in northern Quebec. He is experienced in all phases of underground mine operations and has a proven track record in development and construction management and in building and leading operating teams.
President and CEO, William Anderson states “I am very pleased to welcome Gerry Bilodeau on board in the senior operating role at our Sudbury operations. We have ambitious development plans at both our Lockerby Mine and other projects in Sudbury. Gerry will provide First Nickel with the experience and leadership we’ll need to set our operating goals and schedules, and execute them on time and budget”.
First Nickel is a Canadian mining and exploration company.
