Goldstar reports biggest gold drilling at Walhalla
The company exploring for gold at Walhalla in eastern Victoria, Goldstar, has just reported to the Australian Stock Exchange its biggest drilling result at its Eureka Dyke Bulge.
The latest drilling has uncovered a reef producing more than 5.5 kilograms of gold per tonne of ore.
Previous drilling in the area has produced finds of about 90 grams per tonne.
Goldstar spokesman Andrew King says it is an outstanding result and greatly changes the company’s expectations for the site.
