Hurst Hopes To Make $1 Million Off Natural Gas Drilling
Another North Texas city is hoping to cash in on natural gas drilling.
Hurst officials on Monday plan to send out a request for bids to drill on the city’s 350 acres.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the city hopes to make at least $1 million off the land leases.
Hurst has not decided where the money would go, but staffers recommend using it to redevelop older neighborhoods.
