Hyperdynamics Executives to Attend 15th Africa Oil Week in Cape Town, South Africa

Hyperdynamics Corporation announced that top executives from the Company are attending the 15th Africa Oil Week being held next week in Cape Town, South Africa. This is Africa’s premier international event operated by Global Pacific and Partners. It is the world’s largest and most significant exploration and development event on Africa for the global oil exploration and gas-LNG industry. The event will be attended by top executives of independent, major, and national oil companies providing a forum for extended and new joint venture potentials.

With the interpretation of its 2008 2-D seismic completed, the Company has opened its data room up for review by interested potential partners with which they have confidentiality agreements. There is no doubt that Hyperdynamics is moving forward, offering working interest in its 31,000 square mile exclusive petroleum exploration and exploitation contract area offshore the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. On September 9th the Company announced that it had recently presented to four different independent exploration and production companies, three national oil companies (NOCs), and two potential financial partner firms. Hyperdynamics is continuing to follow up with over two dozen potential partners so far that have expressed serious interest in participation. This trip to Cape Town is a continued part of this process.
