IIRs Researchers in Japan Track Asian Economic Growth First-Hand, a Navigating the Currents of Change Webcast on Industrialinfo.com, an Industrial Info News Alert

Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) — China’s economy grew by about 10% last year. Japan has the world’s fourth-largest economy. South Korea’s gross domestic product (GDP) recently surpassed the $1 trillion mark. Gordon Murray and his team of researchers in Industrial Info’s Japan office are busily tracking billions of dollars in industrial project spending at the heart of these expanding economies.

The researchers in IIR’s Japan office document project spending in Japan, South Korea and China in the following industries: Electric Power, Petroleum Refining, Chemical Processing, Oil & Gas, and Metals & Minerals. One of the team’s major projects is the ongoing expansion of IIR’s coverage of petroleum refining capacity in Asia. They are an integral reason why IIR Energy’s PetroCast Live was able to dramatically expand coverage of refining capacity in this corner of the world.
