The 9th International Mining and Machinery Exhibition, organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) In association with Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Coal, Government of India, focuses on the opportunities, both international and national, provided by the shift of mining companies towards customer satisfaction and expectations. It examines till the elements that make up The industry like the mission, vision, culture, leadership, management, human resources, products and services. processes and systems of various ventures, providing a comprehensive look at Indian mining companies and endeavours. IMME 2008 will feature exhibitors, professionals, buyers and delegates who share a common outlook towards joint ventures, technology transfers and strategic business-to- business alliances.

Germany leads the world in engineering technology, especially in mining equipment. Many German companies have close ties to Indian mining houses. Some German firms also have local production in India, which has become a very important export market for German mining equipment. This year 11 leading Gemian manufacturers of mining equipment, together with the VDMA-Mining Equipment Association, exhibit a wide range of underground, open cast and processing technology. The trade relations between Germany and India are developing for years now. The German inachine and equipment construction has registered a new highest level of machine exports of value of 7,6 billion euro m 2005. As a world wide fifth-largest consumer of – mainly coal produced energy – India is a market with high potential for German suppliers of equipment for production, dismantling and dressing of fossil and other raw materials.
