Investment of Geologic Resource Partners LLC in Zincore Metals Inc.

Geologic Resource Partners LLC announced that in connection with purchases made through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange it has acquired an aggregate 1,510,300 common shares of Zincore Metals Inc., for its own account and on behalf of client accounts over which it has discretionary trading authority. Prior to these purchases, Geologic held 7,000,000 common shares of Zincore. Geologic’s total holdings in Zincore as of July 31, 2008 were 8,510,300 common shares representing approximately 10.76% of the issued and outstanding shares of Zincore.
Geologic has exclusive control over all of the securities but does not have ownership.
Geologic has purchased these securities for investment purposes, and may increase or decrease its investment in the securities of Zincore depending upon future market conditions.
