Nireks Completion of a 43-101 Bolsters Exploration of Sarah Lake Property

Nirek Resources Inc announce the completion of a preliminary National Instrument 43-101 report on its Sarah Lake property in Quebec.

The preliminary 43-101 Technical Report was prepared by Fenton Scott, P.Eng., who is a Qualified Person. Mr. Scott has carried out site examinations on the property. The property is located 85 kilometres south of Wabush, Labrador which is near the Quebec border.

Historical geology from trench samples, surface samples and drilling have indicated a resource with recoverable values of copper and nickel. An initial report quoted values at 0.62% copper and 0.35% nickel. Subsequent data indicated that gold, chromium, cobalt, platinum, palladium and rhodium may be recoverable.

The exploration results note that one of the mineralized area of the property called the West Zone has the surface dimension of 1000 by 300 metres to a minimum 30 metres depth. At a density of 3.5 tonnes per cubic metre, a resource of 31.5 million tonnes can be calculated. Additional drilling will be needed in order to confirm the grade of these inferred resources.

The topography indicates that the West Zone resources can be accessed by open pit mining. In addition it has been concluded that:

1. Mineralization has only been found in the ultramafic intrusives. 2. Mineralized zones show surface continuity. 3. Sample sites are too widespread and non-systematic to confirm such continuity at depth. 4. A variety of exploration techniques including surface sampling, diamond drilling, geophysics and geochemistry have demonstrated that positive results are so far confined to separate zones (East Zone and West Zone). The remainder of the prospect has yet to be explored. 5. Both zones contain recoverable quantities of copper, nickel, gold,

platinum and palladium with lower values in cobalt and rhodium.

The property has a potential to prove up resources sufficient to warrant production. Nirek is planning an exploration program consisting of, initially, soil geochemistry to better define mineralized zones followed by 5,000 metres of diamond drilling.
