Questerre Energy Reports Drilling Results In New Core Area Of Westlock In Central Alberta
Questerre Energy Corp. (QEC.TO) announced that it has participated in the drilling and completion of six wells with five wells cased as potential gas producers, one dry and abandoned for an 83% success rate in its new core area of Westlock in Central Alberta. Subject to equipment availability and weather conditions, the successful wells would be completed and tied-in prior to year-end, the company added.
Questerre noted that it plans to drill four to nine additional wells in this area both on its existing acreage as well lands under the farm-in agreement with Apache Canada in the balance of this year.
