Radissons Drilling Program Intersects High Grade Gold North of the Cadillac Break on the OBrien and Kewagama Properties

Radisson Mining Resources Inc. is pleased to report on the diamond drilling program currently in progress on its O’Brien / Kewagama project located immediately west of the Wood / Pandora property of Globex / Queenston and 6 km west of the Agnico-Eagle-Lapa deposit.

Four diamond drill holes, KW06-12 to KW06-15, of the Radisson’s planned 4000 meter drill program have now been completed and can be reported on. The objective of these holes was to test a gold target north of the O’Brien and 36E zones and north of the Cadillac Break.

The results received to date indicate the presence of a new significant gold zone, the North Zone, some 75m north of the Cadillac Break. Mineralization consists of smoky quartz veins in sheared and altered metasedimentary rocks of the Cadillac Group. Pyrite and arsenopyrite, and locally, visible gold (hole KW06-13) are associated to the quartz veins. Gold values of 6.7 g/t over 1.5 m (0.20 oz/t over 5.0 ft), 10.4 g/t over 1.2 m (0.31 oz/t over 3.8 ft), and 10.6 g/t over 1,2 m (0.31 oz/t over 3.8 ft) were obtained respectively in hole KW06-12, KW06-13 and KW06-15

The following table summarizes the results of the Radisson’s 2006 diamond drilling program on this North Zone, it also includes the results of the drilling done by Novamin in 1981 in the same area. This zone has an east-west orientation and is almost vertical (parallel to the Cadillac Break). The deepest intersection is at 510 ft and the zone is open both laterally and at depth.

Radisson considers these results from the North Zone as highly encouraging in that the data from recently completed Terraquest airborne EM and magnetometer surveys suggest a continuation of the zone east and west that warrants immediate follow-up ground geophysics and additional drilling.

Drilling is now continuing with holes now testing for extensions of the 36E Zone. Presently a new gold resource report is being prepared by Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle (Scott WilsonRPA) to be part of a scoping study leading to a decision to go underground to carry out a bulk sample program.

The Radisson O’Brien/Kewagama exploration program is planned and supervised jointly by Dale M Hendrick, P.Eng., Director and Technical Consultant to the Radisson Board, and Raynald Vincent, ing., Consultant and Qualified Person as per National Requirement 43-101 Policy.

All drill cores are NQ in size and assays were done on sawn half-cores, with the second half kept for future reference. The samples were analyzed using standard fire assay procedures with AA finish at Expert Laboratory Inc. in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. Samples yielding a grade higher than 1 g/t were analyzed a second time by fire assay with gravimetric finish at the same laboratory.

In addition of the standard quality control of the laboratory, a commercial standard sample and a blank sample are inserted in every shipment of 20 samples (or less) for quality control purpose. The blank samples are used to detect contamination at the laboratory while the commercial standards are used to test precision and reproducibility of results. They will represent approximately 10% of the total samples assayed.

Elsewhere Radisson is pleased to report that drilling of the Highway Moybdenite property in the Dryden Ontario area has commenced during third week of October.

About Radisson

Radisson is a Quebec-based mining exploration company focused on the discovery of gold, molybdenum and base metal deposits. It has interests in nine properties in North-Western Quebec and five properties in North-Western Ontario. The most advanced and also the company’s principal asset is the former O’Brien Mine property in Cadillac, Quebec. This mine produced 587,521 ounces of gold (1926 – 1956) from 1.3 million short tons at an average grade of 0.467 ounces gold per short ton. Surface and underground infrastructure are still in place on this property as well as a 200 tons per day gold mill.
