Rockcliff Focuses on Winter Drill Program at Snow Lake Project

Rockcliff Resources Inc. announce that it plans to carry out a winter drill program at its Snow Lake Project located in central Manitoba. Rockcliff intends to drill approximately 3,000 m during the first quarter of 2009. Additionally, Geotech Ltd. has completed a third phase airborne VTEM and magnetic survey totalling 927 line kilometres on the project. Preliminary examination of these data has identified multiple untested VTEM anomalies prospective for VMS and base metal mineralization. Interpretation and prioritization of the untested anomalies are in progress.

Rockcliff’s 2009 winter drill program will focus on new VTEM targets prospective for copper-zinc-gold-silver (VMS) mineralization and areas with potential for nickel-copper-PGM mineralization. Approximately 20 holes are planned in this program.

Rockcliff has now completed a total of 13,043 line kilometres of airborne VTEM and magnetic surveys over the Snow Lake Project. The surveys utilized Geotech’s versatile time-domain electromagnetic (VTEM) and high sensitivity, cesium vapour magnetometer systems. The VTEM system has excellent depth penetration and high spatial resolution capabilities along with superior resistivity discrimination for detection of weaker anomalies. Hundreds of untested VTEM anomalies identified on Rockcliff’s project are in the process of being prioritized for future property advancement.
