SAIL bags award for its mining technology
State-run SAIL today said it has bagged the first Prize for design and concept of its coal mining technology at the 6th International Trade Fair.
In the Fair organized by Indian Institute of Metals the company showcased its coal mining technology used in the extraction of iron ore, SAIL said in a release.
The three-day event was attended by 39 international companies with China as a partner country.
The award was presented by Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Jairam Ramesh, the release said.
