Stellar to begin drilling on Vassan property

Stellar Pacific Ventures (SPX) is pleased to announce the beginning of drilling campaign on its Vassan property located in the Val d’Or mining camp today May 23, 2007. The drilling campaign consist of 7 holes totalizing 4,500 metres.

The drilling will be aimed at delineating the Hamelin mineralized structure towards the east and at depth. More specifically, the drilling will target the extensions of the intercepts obtained in the last two holes of the 2006 fall campaign which returned 10.43 g/t Au, 6.6 g/t Ag and 0.64% Cu over 1 metre on hole 2006-12, and 16.03 g/t Au over 0.33 metre and 5.86 g/t Au over 0.62 metre on hole 2006-13. The 2006 fall program demonstrated that the Hamelin structure is continuous from surface down to the 550 m level and that it is still open at depth and towards the east.

It is important to remember that Mr Gagnon’s report states that the mineral inventory of the Vassan property is estimated at 385 054 tons grading 5.01 g/t Au, 0.19 % Cu and 3.41 g/t Ag within the indicated category and 62 600 tons grading 4.15 g/t Au, 0.10 % Cu and 1.32 g/t Ag in inferred resource (See press release dated October 03, 2006).
