Universal Stainless Bridgeville Facility Continues Operations
Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. reported that it has agreed with Local 9531 of the United Steelworkers to continue operations at the Company’s Bridgeville facility while negotiations of a mutually acceptable labor agreement continue. The previously announced continuance of the collective bargaining agreement covering the hourly employees at the facility expired on September 12.
The employees are working under the terms and conditions of the prior agreement, which otherwise would have expired at midnight August 31, 2008.
