W&O Supply signs deal with drilling, tanker companies
W&O Supply Inc. has contracted with an offshore drilling company and a petroleum ocean tanker company to be their primary provider of marine valves and related products.
The deals involve Transocean Offshore Inc.’s offshore drilling rigs and Teekay Shipping Corp.’s fleet.
Transocean builds oil and natural gas wells in deep water and harsh environments, with 28 rigs that can drill in more than 4,500 feet of water. With more than 50 years of experience launching advanced rigs, Transocean serves global energy firms, national petroleum companies and independent operators.
Teekay Shipping transports more than 10 percent of the world’s seaborne oil and a significant amount of liquefied natural gas.
W&O Supply, based in Jacksonville, has 13 stocking locations nationwide and one in Belgium.
