Bayou City Exploration Purchases Mineral Interest in Aransas County

Bayou City Exploration, Inc. announces that it has purchased 100% of the mineral interest in approximately 427.28 gross/net acres located in the McCampbell Subdivision near the town of Aransas, Texas.
The purchase, made at a competitive auction, is key to Bayou City’s planned development of the McAllen West Prospect, which is estimated to contain potential project reserves of approximately 19 BCF.
“Our analysis of 3-D, 2-D and subsurface data on the prospect showed strong promise and led us to move quickly to secure the mineral interest,” said Bayou City President Morris Hewitt. “We are continuing to assemble additional acreage.”
