Northern Uranium Announces Commencement of Gardner-Tanami Super Project Exploration Program
Northern Uranium announced the commencement of field work on the Gardner-Tanami Super Project where French nuclear group Areva is the operator of uranium exploration and development. Areva, currently holding 17.25% interest in Northern, is expected to expend approx $2.7m on behalf of the Company over the remainder of the year. The Project is located 200km southeast of Halls Creek in the Tanami region of WA and the Northern Territory. The Project consists of 34 granted tenements and tenement applications covering more than 10,000km2.
